Are NigeriaPolls widgets free to use?

Yes. All standard widgets are free for non-commercial websites, blogs, and news outlets. You must keep the NigeriaPolls attribution link visible. Commercial or high-traffic usage may require a licence—contact us for details.

Do I need an API key to embed a widget?

No API key is required for our iframe widgets. Simply copy the HTML snippet and paste it into your page. For advanced integrations, we also offer a JSON API with authentication.

Can I customise the colour theme?

Yes. Every widget supports a 'theme' parameter set to 'light' or 'dark'. The light theme uses white cards with slate text; the dark theme uses a navy background with white text to match NigeriaPolls branding.

Will the widgets slow down my website?

Our widgets are served via a global CDN and loaded asynchronously in an iframe. They do not block your page render and typically load in under 200 ms.

Can I request a custom widget?

Absolutely. If you need a bespoke visualisation—such as a live dashboard for a specific election or a branded index tracker—email our integrations team and we will scope the build.

What happens if NigeriaPolls updates the underlying data?

Widgets automatically reflect the latest data. You do not need to update the embed code. Countdown timers adjust when election dates are confirmed, and poll widgets refresh as new surveys are published.
