What we do

Baseline, midline and endline surveys

Household and individual surveys built around your results framework, so you can show where a programme started and what changed.

Knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) surveys

For health, nutrition, WASH, education and behaviour change programmes, with results broken down by state, sex and age.

Needs assessments

Household interviews, key informant interviews and focus groups to find out what communities, schools and facilities actually need.

Third-party monitoring

Independent checks that activities, distributions and services happened as reported, with geotagged evidence and beneficiary interviews.

Household and phone surveys at scale

Phone surveys from our nationwide sampling frame, plus in-person data collection through our field partner network, across all 36 states and the FCT.

Fieldwork for research firms

We run Nigerian fieldwork under your methodology and standards when you need extra capacity, a faster turnaround or coverage in particular states.

How we work in the field

  • Interviewers based across the country, so the person asking the questions usually lives in the state being surveyed.
  • Interviews in English, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo and Pidgin.
  • Four ways to collect: in person, live phone interview, SMS and WhatsApp. The mode is recorded on every response.

Quality controls

  • Quotas by state, sex and age, with weighting to National Population Commission figures.
  • Every recorded interview is checked against the approved questionnaire, not a sample of them.
  • Back-checks re-contact a share of completed interviews.
  • Full accounting of every interview that is accepted or rejected, and why.
  • A live, read-only dashboard so you can watch fieldwork as it happens.

Senior academics join our teams on larger assessments, leading on design, analysis and reporting.
