Make a data request

Nigerian data protection law gives you rights over the personal data we hold about you. You can ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, or withdraw a consent you gave. You can also tell us never to contact you again, and that one we act on immediately.

Use the form below and we will log your request, send you a reference, and respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

If your request is about a call or a text you received from us, the number helps us find the right record. We will not add it to anything.

What happens next

  1. We record your request and email you a reference, usually within a few minutes.
  2. We check that the request came from you. For most requests this is a short exchange by email. We do this because without it, anyone who knew your email address could ask us to delete your records.
  3. We search our systems and respond. If we are keeping something you asked us to delete, we tell you which record and why, rather than deleting quietly or refusing without a reason.

One thing we will not delete

If you ask us never to contact you again, we keep the minimum record needed to honour that, and we keep it indefinitely. Deleting it would mean we had no way of knowing you had asked, and we would call you again. That record is used for nothing else.

If you would rather write to us

Email [email protected]. The form is more reliable, because it logs your request the moment you send it and gives you a reference straight away.

You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you are not satisfied with how we handle your request. How we handle personal data generally is set out in our privacy policy.
