Why this platform
Nigeria has more than 220 million citizens but no Gallup, no Pew Research, and no public-domain Office for National Statistics in the way the UK, US or Kenya do. The polls that exist are typically slow, paywalled, or methodologically opaque.
NigeriaPolls was built to close that gap: structured methodology, transparent governance, rapid pulse cycles, and open-data licensing. Every dataset is published under CC BY 4.0 so journalists, academics, civil-society organizations, and citizens can use, remix and cite it without restriction.
