About Us

Who We Are

NigeriaPolls is Nigeria's leading independent public opinion research organisation. Founded in 2019, we conduct nationally representative surveys on politics, governance, the economy, and social issues across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Our mission is to strengthen democratic accountability by giving citizens, journalists, and policymakers timely, accurate, and accessible data on what Nigerians think. Every poll we publish follows a rigorous methodology developed with input from leading statisticians and political scientists. We use stratified random sampling, multi-mode data collection (face-to-face, phone, and online), and demographic weighting to ensure our samples reflect Nigeria's diversity.

Our team of 25+ researchers, field coordinators, and data scientists is headquartered in Abuja with regional offices in Lagos, Kano, and Enugu. We are entirely funded by grants and institutional partnerships — we do not conduct commissioned partisan polling, and we pre-register our survey instruments to guarantee transparency.
