About Us
Who We Are
NigeriaPolls is an independent Nigerian public opinion research organisation, a trading name of Academic Support Services NG Ltd (RC 9416237). We cover politics, governance, the economy, and social issues across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Our mission is to strengthen democratic accountability by giving citizens, journalists, and policymakers timely, accurate, and accessible data on what Nigerians think. Every NigeriaPolls poll publishes its question wording, field dates, response basis and sample size. We sample from a nationwide random-digit-dial frame of over 11,000 Nigerian mobile numbers, collect by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and in person through our field partner network, and weight to National Population Commission figures.
Nigeria Pulse, our daily social-conversation tracker, follows what Nigerians are discussing across Nigerian platforms. We do not conduct commissioned partisan polling, and our public data is released under CC BY 4.0.

Using NigeriaPolls Data in Reporting
Can I use NigeriaPolls data in my reporting?
Yes. All NigeriaPolls public data is free to cite in journalism, academic research, and public commentary. Please attribute clearly: 'Source: NigeriaPolls (nigeriapolls.com)' and include the poll date and sample size when available.
How should I cite NigeriaPolls in an article?
Use the format: NigeriaPolls, 'Poll Title', Month Year, n=sample size, margin of error ±X%. Link back to the original poll page on nigeriapolls.com when possible.
Can I get embargoed access to upcoming releases?

Does NigeriaPolls conduct custom polling for media outlets?
We do not conduct commissioned polls for individual media organisations to preserve our independence. We do offer expert commentary and data interpretation.
What is NigeriaPolls' margin of error?
The margin of error depends on the sample size and design of each poll. Every NigeriaPolls poll publishes its margin of error at the 95% confidence level alongside its sample size and field dates.
