Method
How Your Score Is Worked Out
Your overall score is the simple average of the seven ratings you give: the President, your Governor and the five issue areas. Every rating carries equal weight, so no area counts for more than another. Nothing is estimated and nothing is added from outside the tool, which means the scorecard is a direct reflection of your own judgement.

How does the Nigeria approval rating calculator work?
You rate the President, your state Governor and five governance areas on a scale of 0 to 100. When you submit, the calculator shows your ratings as a scorecard with an overall score, your strongest area and your weakest area. The whole process takes under two minutes and needs no registration, login or personal information.
Is my rating data stored or shared?
No. Your ratings are processed entirely in your browser. They are not sent to our servers, shared with third parties or linked to your identity.
Is this a poll?
No. The calculator is a personal scorecard tool. Your ratings are not collected, so they are not counted in any NigeriaPolls result. For measured public opinion, see our polls and methodology pages.
Can I share my results on social media?
Yes. After you finish, you can post your scores to Twitter/X, WhatsApp or Facebook with a link back to the calculator so others can try it.
